Progress reports for all content areas (language arts, social studies, math, and science) will be mailed home every 15th and 30th of each month. Parents can also access student's grades and progress throughout the trimester through Skyward.
Welcome to the 2014-2015 School Year!!!
The start of the 2014-2015 school year has been very busy and fun!
In Language Arts the sixth graders have been reviewing language conventions and learning new academic vocabulary. We have also been comparing and contrasting literary genres and read a fantasy novel, either Tuck Everlasting or Bridge to Terabithia and are currently finishing a mystery novel, The Westing Game.
In social studies the students have been learning the political map of the United States and have completed a State Fair Project including writing a research paper. Below are pictures from the state fair project process and from the State Fair Exhibition the fifth and sixth graders hosted.
